later that day Isabelle finished off decorating a cake for the party that evening. The ‘mermaid cake’ as we have called it is supposed to be an interpereratation of an under the sea theme with the blue icing as the water the sprinkles as mermaids which we all decided after the decorating process had finished

Then at around 11:30  Isabelle and Issac along with our parents headed of on the bus and then the train to wrigley field for the cubs vs the reds . The cubs won the game which was surprising because when we left early to get home in time for the party the cubs were loosing by quite alot with four innings left

We arrived back home from the game just in time for the party. We ate some delicious grilled chicken made by John followed by cake and ice cream which was very yummy

  1. Well done guys for your blog entry and very imaginative cake decorations by Isabelle.
Also great ye all got to the Whigley Field the home of the cubs. Big change from the hurling.
Enjoy your last day in Chicago.

    1. Consensus is the sports have similarities (sticks and balls and running) but Wrigley Field and the atmosphere is very different from Croke Park. Wrigley Field is much more relaxed!

  2. Good that James’s wiggly tooth didn’t come out in Wrigley Field. Isabelle’s cake looks lovely!

  3. Lovely cake Isabelle, looks delicious. Great ye got to Wrigley field, James, did the tooth fairy find its way to Chicago? Enjoy the rest of the holidays☀️😎🇱🇷

  4. Great post on the blog, it’ll be a huge US edition of the Jamo Times after this!
