After a long blog break, cndkmen are back with the excellent news that the kitchen is complete. I don’t think any readers will be surprised by this, but just to tie up loose ends, here are some pics.
The last photo is actually news – I have started the process of decorating the walls / empty areas in the kitchen / bathroom. These books salvaged from a map company’s library deaccession pile provide some interest!
Anne was in town this week and we met her for a lovely meal with an amazing view at Gibson’s Italia on the river. We had fantastic seats at the window thanks to John’s contacts!
Sorry, anne, I should have warned you that standing next to these two makes a person appear oddly tiny. We had a great lunch at the Winchester today and discussed how avocado toast is both delicious and also has become such a politically charged topic world wide!
News roundup through pics: bean club still going strong! The city is introducing initial cap / lower case into street signs and some days it just makes me crazy, John and I on the 606, and amazing ramen kat and liam made us in early January.
Having spent the whole day packing up our kitchen/living room space, it is very nice to see such a great “after” series of photos!! I don’t think I took in on Skype how nice the bathroom is too!
Great to catch up with Anne this week! For some reason it seems odd to see you all in winter gear, particularly on the 606!!
