After much research and longing for a pet in the mammal category, we adopted 2 rescue guinea pigs today. They are very cute and snuggly, and are a bit freaked out, having moved all the way across town today. They’re really into vegetables! We fed them carrots and green peppers today.
I’m sure Speedy and Mr. T will be happy in their new home. Kinda expected to see Mr. T. wearing gold jewelry, though.
We have plans to build them a loft so they can get more exercise running up and down a ramp! Mr T is named for the T shaped white crest on his head. But they are both so speedy it’s hard to get a pic!
Congratulations! A nice step to the mammal category. Can’t wait to meet them.
