Song from Room 116 Mother’s Tea

Miles’s class hosted a tea party for their mothers this week. They did a great job–the kids sang songs (Twinkle Twinkle Little Star in English and in Japanese!), read the poem “Andre” by Gwendolyn Brooks, gave us tie-dyed silk scarves, and shared tea and sweets.

This movie shows a snippet of another song they sang, called Chicken Lips. Miles is in the back, wearing a blue tie-dyed shirt.
