We were hoping to go canoeing today, but the weather got very cold (40f/5c) and the overnight rain raised the river levels, so instead we grabbed breakfast at the Red River Outdoors Cafe (1st two below), which claims to be the best breakfast in Slade, and we agree, yummy pancakes. Afterwards we went for a hike in Red River Gorge, lovely area, but we were glad we bundled up. We might get snow tomorrow!
