Any time! Though indoors it gets very hot very fast! Yes municipal was open – supplies were a bit low but that seemed to be more due to a refrigerator issue than the cold outside.
Hi Cindy, we’ve seen the photos of the polar vortex in Chicago, it looks pretty serious, love your drawings of your out door gear, can you remember it been as bad as this before? ⛄️
Hi Frankie, the photos of the polar vortex were really amazing! I am so impressed by those photographers brave enough to go out it! It really seemed a level worse this time. I’m not sure if was just because at those low temps every degree you lose is more dramatic and more things go wrong, or because it lasted for two days. It felt like we were in a scary movie where the plot was that there was something menacing outside and we just had to wait for the monster to go away. But even crazier, it’s warmed up tremendously, it’s 6 degrees outside now! Not that would normally be the warmest day, but people here are wearing jackets unzipped, leaving hats and gloves at home, etc. Hoping it stays warmer for Anne and Brian’s visit later this week / next weekend!
