Our traditional Christmas-time lunch with the Gorskis took place on Dec. 30th this year, with friends and family old and new attending. Left to right, in there back row is Naomi, Liam, Nadia, Dave, Miles, John, Annette, Eric, and in front, Amber, Ben, Sylvie and Will.
Our guinea pigs Mr. T and Speedy didn’t make it into the photo but they got a lot of attention and vegetables from all the kids! They can be seen here.
For lunch, we had falafel sandwiches with hummus and Jerusalem salad from Sultan’s Market, with coffee, mimosas and a stout that Eric brought (check out Eric’s beer blog for Colorado beer news: http://blogs.denverpost.com/beer). Two frozen pizzas were also made and quickly consumed. As mentioned before, Mr T and Speedy ate a lot of parsley, cilantro and carrots. Sylvie and Nadia brought their own lunch and really impressed us with their enthusiasm for tofu and sweet potatoes!
The twins were also very impressive in just how much fun they have walking around, picking up objects and choosing people to hand them to, often with a cheery “hi!” Here, Nadia heads to the kitchen to check out the action there, while Sylvie looks at a cowboy that either she just gave Amber or that Amber is about to give her.
Tickling tends to break out at the lunch. Eric, Will and Ben enjoyed some father and son tickle time.
We had a great time talking about skiing trips taken and about to be taken (hope you had fun at Steamboat, Eric, Amber, Will and Ben!) and comparing notes on Craigslist rules (don’t ever hold an item for anyone, it’s first come first served!), and playing legos and with an odd but fun mix of winnie the pooh toys, plastic Greek gods, and cowboys and horses. Hope to see you all next year!

Great photo of the group! Looks like you all had a great time!
We enjoyed seeing all the photos.
