  • Lost…in Morton Grove, Illinois

    When school was out and John was home, I tried a few new routes to work that, well, didn't work. Route #1 was Metra to Morton Grove, walk to Dempster, take the 250 Pace bus. Sounds simple…but it wasn't. I got very turned around between the Metra station and Dempster, partly because the streets TURN out there instead of going in nice straight lines like they are supposed to.   • another raffle win for Liam!

    When we went to Redmoon for the Winter Pagaent, Liam entered the raffle for one of 3 props from previous performances. We were very excited to get a call this week to tell us that his ticket was the first one drawn, and he got the first choice of the prizes! He chose the mask, which they then referred to as the head, and when we got there to pick it up we could see why. One of the best things was getting to see the inside of the Redmoon offices.   • Ticklemonster Attacks Gathering of Friends

    A ticklemonster attacked a gathering of friends Saturday evening in the Chicago neighborhood of Humboldt Park, specifically targeting one very cute young fellow and his dad. The victims, seen below, tried the commonly used technique of hiding behind their hands in hopes that the monster would go away.   This technique did not work. In fact the only thing that stopped the tickling was an injury, which was upsetting to the hosts. "Why does someone always have to get hurt?" asked Cindy Mathews, rhetorically.
