Second graders at Newberry went on a walking field trip to the zoo today. It was pouring at first, but we waited a bit then just went in the rain. We saw a wolf family, with the mom wolf carrying a baby wolf in her mouth (as Miles tells it, at first we thought she was carrying her lunch…) Also the lions were roaring a lot, and we saw some amazing monkey gymnastics. Here is Miles with friends Bobby and Thomas, and of course, the giraffe and lions.

This was from the day Frankie went to Indiana, during Barry and Frankie's visit a few weeks ago. Here are 4 Kennymen down at the sculptures at Roosevelt Rd & S. Michigan Avenue! Also I can't help but throw in an extra photo of the sculptures, they are really fun to photograph.

Miles played the role of family patriarch Uncle Eben in a play last month and his costume consisted of pajamas, a walker, and talc in his hair. They had to practice on the hair on a non-actor first, so Liam got the treatment as well.

With liam growing up so fast he had outgrown his last bike, so we bought a bike frame at a yard sale ands spent the last two weeks builing it up from all the old bikes around. Looks pretty good!
