• Movie trailer starring Miles

Miles made this using iMovie on his iPod, while watching a TV show. Just think what work of genius he could have created if he’d given it his full attention! Enjoy the trailer, and let’s hope the full length movie is available soon! http://youtu.be/zj89O6mdHdQ

  • Miles’ Arm Part 3

Miles had his first cast removed today and all is going well. He’ll have a shorter cast in for another two weeks then a splint Here he is after the old cast was removed

  • 4 more … weeks!

Well it wasn’t the chant we wanted to hear from the doctor today but yes, miles will have the big cast on for another 3 weeks, so a total of 4. Then he’ll get a short cast for 2 weeks, then a splint. Turns out the er doctors don’t relay the same messaging! The bright side is he got it rewrapped so now it has no sharp edges, and he got to choose a color: incredible hulk green!

  • Sandy in Chicago

  • Fractured radius and ulna

Miles fell into a wall at school today during a game of Johnny Come Across and hurt his arm. Turns out he fractured both bones near his wrist! We went to the new children’s hospital and had a very pleasant visit, with xrays and cast all done in about 4 hours. He’ll go back in to get this big cast off next week. It will be replaced by a smaller cast, which he’ll have for a few more weeks after that.

In fact the blog has really fallen behind, I need to have a word with my intern about it. Anyway, I have access to a really great pic of us at the wedding but it is currently embargoed while we decide on a holiday card, so readers, please be patient. Over the course of the wedding weekend, we had a really great time meeting Danielle & Chris’s friends and family and enjoying the bike-friendly…
