Readers have asked about the image in our new blog header. It’s from a sculpture I saw in Vail during my various errand runs around the village. It’s really large and impressive, I think symbolizing clouds. I didn’t take a pic of the whole thing but here’s the full frame.

For John’s birthday I organized a 2 hour stretch limo trip for him through the mountains! Ok John’s office organized it but the rest is true. And the driver told john he has a very cute prom date 🙂 view out window with minibar in foreground below.

By the time I got to vail, john already had the dressing changed on his recuperating knee and shortly after ditched the hospital gown and got dressed in his outside world clothes. He’s doing great in crutches and is adhering to the exercise regimen very well!
