Happy Birthday, Mom! We hope you have a great one!

Miles and Liam built the pirate ship that Isabelle and Isaac sent for his birthday. They had a lot of fun and built it like the picture in the book that came with it. It can be take apart and built again, so watch for updates!

After an intense 6 hour search on Craig’s List last Friday, we acquired some new patio furniture. Many thanks to all who helped in this quest. It’s been great so far, we have eaten outside almost every night! There’s also an umbrella but we’re keeping that inside until it needs to be used. 6 chairs, 3 small tables, one big table, and umbrella stand and umbrella.

Miles birthday party was a big sucess. Miles wanted there to be a game theme, so we set up lots of games, such as chess, sorry and connect four. Andre brought along a great game called Dvoon, which was a big hit with both the kids and grown ups!

With plummeting temperatures and snow on the way we decided to call it quits and head home. too bad but still a great vacation in an area we are sure to return too. Most of all we were impressed with the efforts of locals like miguels pizza and amy’s red river outfitters to bring prosperity to a very poor part of the country by bringing in rock climbers from all of the country.
