Liam’s all packed and ready to move to college! He’s quite a light packer, this is all he’s bringing (minus the secretary desk and John’s bike). Does anyone recognize the plaid plastic with zipper bag on the right? We still have two of those bags that survived two transatlantic flights!
He is bringing his own bike, which I don’t think I’ve posted a photo of yet. Here he is outside the Field Museum where we went on Sunday. It was chilly outside and so foggy they cancelled the air part of the air and water show!
Tonight we went out to dinner to a favorite meal of ours, Peking Duck, that Colette, Colman and friends introduced us to in Sydney. It was delicious as usual! Note this place serves steamed buns to make the little wraps in, rather than thinner pancake wontons like we had in Sydney and have in other places here.
Off to bed early since we have an early start in the morning! We are hoping to leave the house by 6:30am to beat the traffic and get Liam to his residence hall nice and early.

You are a very light packer Liam… Hope you have fun settling into college. Exciting times! I’d like to try those buns with the Peking duck… In fact you’re making me crave it now!
The wooden camp box has had a lot of use, too. You’re taking the pig picture? I have always liked that. The Peking duck looks delicious!
