The fears that America had back in the 1950s and 1960s seem so distant now. American astronauts will travel into space aboard Russian spacecraft. My grandsons visited a Minuteman missile launch site! When I was their age, that would have been maybe like going up to the front door of the White House, opening it, and going inside.
