We took on a little more than we could handle with our trip to Pallos Hills for some cycling, unfortunatley all the trails were mountain bike trials, so much of the time we were pushing them up hills. Lovely area though, we might try returning there and looking for some simpler walking areas. We also came across the site of the U of C’s Manhatten project test sites, where they did the first nuclear chain reaction tests. There was a memorial (first picture), as well as some portions where there were lots of signs saying not to dig in the area as it there was radioactive waste buried there.
