Having arrived in Singapore I made a direct line to Jumbo’s for the Chili Crab, its a messy slurpy job, but more than worth it. I nearly had to sign a waiver to get the waiter to give me the Fried scallops with yam, apparanetly most westerners don’t like it, and I get his point, but is was weirdly fascinating to eat something so mushy and fried.
