Miles had a pretty chill birthday today, since it’s his spring break he had plenty of free time. John took the day off and in addition to hanging out with Miles cycled the entire length of the lakefront trail and back again! The stats: distance 33.4 miles, average speed of 18.4 mph. Elevation gain 0 feet.
In the evening I met John and miles in the west loop and we naively attempted to get a table at au cheval – but there was a two hour wait! So we went to Nando peri peri, the same place readers may remember where we celebrated my last birthday. Delicious as usual! After dinner we went to spinning j’s in our own neighborhood for pie.
What a 16 year old!
It was chilly today but trees don’t seem to mind and have started to bloom and leaf on campus.
