Our daffodils are in better shape than previous years. Or maybe it’s just warmer and I can stand around looking at them for longer.
This shot of the garden has 3 purposes: 1-to provide contrast for when things really start to grow in the next month or so, 2-to preview the exciting things we are doing with old windows around the fence, and 3- to show the new vegetable bed in process. I’m making the raised bed out of some beams that were pulled out of the basement. The bed is in a sunny area that wasn’t really planted for its full potential before. The path is going to be more of a long circuit, but since I can’t change where the sun shines I had to change something else…
Your daffodils are really pretty! Mine are kaput now, and I cut the blossom stems off. They don’t bloom for very long, but they are such a welcome splash of yellow in early spring! ~ Mom
That is also a really interesting project you have going there with the construction of the raised bed and re-arrangement of your garden! It will be interesting to see what you do with the windows. ~ Mom
Daffodils in April but it’s Autumn?! Looking forward to what you do with windows.
