Miles fell into a wall at school today during a game of Johnny Come Across and hurt his arm. Turns out he fractured both bones near his wrist! We went to the new children’s hospital and had a very pleasant visit, with xrays and cast all done in about 4 hours.
He’ll go back in to get this big cast off next week. It will be replaced by a smaller cast, which he’ll have for a few more weeks after that.
Hope the cast isn’t too annoying Miles and it heals pretty quickly!

I hope Miles has a speedy recovery! He doesn’t look too upset about it in the picture. It must not hurt too bad, and they must have been very good to him in the hospital. Is “Johnny Come Across” the newer version of “Red Rover”? I bet it’ll be nice to have the smaller cast on next week. This big one is probably kind of awkward. Get well soon, MIles!
