Great fireworks at the lakefront. Ourselves and the Groves headed down to just at the edge of the lakefront, down near Buckingham Fountain. The first photo is just before the fireworks set off, the second is off the fireworks themselves. Great night!

That looks like a great fireworks show! We’re going to Powell Gardens this evening to listen to the Lee’s Summit Symphony Orchestra; fireworks will begin when it gets dark. We’ll probably post something to our blog tomorrow, web.mac.com/hmmathews. – Mary
