The weather warmed up here dramatically. All the snow melted on Saturday and Sunday was warm but very muddy everywhere. Sunday was 60 degrees F / 15 degrees C, and we took a trip to the Brookfield Zoo. We got to catch up with Harley the sea lion (our penniped pal from last summer), see Hudson the baby polar bear playing with all his toys, and do a little baboon observing, which was of special interest to John since he’s reading a book about baboons. As seen in the pictures below we also stopped by Australia.
Those kangaroos look a little familiar…! Looks like fun although I did laugh thinking of 15degrees as a warm day!
