Day 3 was a great one, the heat broke, bringing the temperature down to 25c and we brought the Brennans in to the best of Chicago, the loop, followed by Millenium Park, followed by Navy Pier.
Isabelle is already getting the hang of the train:
We started off with a quick slide down the Daley Plaza Picasso
And then a lot of fun splashing in the Crown Fountain in Millenium Park and making faces into Chicago’s world famous bean!
Then we went to Maggie Daley Park, lost the kids in the huge playground there and had a quick came of Silly Golf where James putted a hole in one!
Feeling very energetic we decided to walk over to Navy Pier and take the 66 bus home. Along the way we discovered that the City of Chicago was already aware that the Kenny’s were changing Chicago, and even more fun, discovered they had upgraded the fountain at Navy Pier, so along with fun water features, there were also this crazy gas/fog effect that made all the photos seem really erie!
All in all a really perfect Chicago summer day and a great, albeit exhausting day for everyone, with an early night for everyone once we got home!
A really fun day had by all-Looks like a change of clothes was needed after all the water fun.
Great pics! I’ve now got a line from Rory’s Chicago book in my head … “there was so much to do at millennium park, Max let out a big bark”!
Great pictures!
