Thanks for the birthday wishes, everyone! Thought I would share some photos of my adventure in jury duty. The jury duty part itself has been uneventful so far, just waiting in a big room. But lunch break has been interesting.

Thanks, all! Update: about an hour after we got back from lunch, they released everyone from duty, saying that there would be no more need for jurors that afternoon. I’m back home now enjoying the afternoon, and will meet my book club later then come back home to try those chocolates with John and Miles!
The chocolates look lovely! Interesting about the bulls in the architecture. I don’t think of bulls being a symbol of justice. Nice that you brought your lunch. They must have a place to eat outdoors.
