What often passes for snow removal is really ‘pushing snow from the center of the road to the edges’. Today the city is engaging in some serious removal. Backhoes and trucks are everywhere, picking up mountains of snow on street corners especially and filling the trucks. I’m not sure about the details on this but I’ve heard the city has big melting machines for all the snow. All that water can then flush out the sewers. Win win!
Update: sNOw way! We got another 3 inches overnight and it’s still snowing! Very light and fluffy though, not hard to shovel at all.
sNOw way !
