Miles, Liam and Kat arrived earlier this week, and fell into our schedule of a combination of working remotely and visiting local favorite outdoor spots. First favorite outdoor spot, especially on a 60 degree and sunny afternoon, the patio!

Another favorite spot, Boston Hill.
Nana ordered cookies for us from our local favorite, Diane’s Bakery. Yummm! Thanks, Nana!
We are enjoying a new board game called Poetry for Neanderthals. It comes with an inflatable club for enforcing the rules.

Readers may recognize a few of these next spots from previous day trips, but we also drove out to the Cliff Dwellings at Gila and the catwalk at Glenwood Recreation Area. Miles slid down a small incline at Gila and got into some trouble with the cactus that Liam is holding below. Ouch! Those plants are so on the offense – it released all the little pricklers into Miles’s hand like a porcupine shedding its quills in a cartoon. We got most out on site and removed the few stragglers back at the house with some tweezers. Note Kat is not in these photos since she had to work several days this week. After the cactus story, she was pretty happy to have stayed back on that one!
Great week with everyone!

It was so nice that Liam, Kat, and Miles could visit! About the cactus: ouch!
