Bondi to Bronte

After a nice time catching up here with Colette and Colman’s friends Michael, Suzie and Peter, John and I took the bus to Bondi Beach and walked back in the cooler evening temperatures. It was still pretty hot at the beginning of the walk but cooled off once we got into the shade. These blue boats are at North Bondi, the start of our walk.

Selfie to get the walk started!

Birds have been a theme here – from the birds outside our window in the morning to the bird show at the zoo. This bird mural is in North Bondi.

The different eastern suburbs have swim clubs with buildings along the coast. The Bondi Icebergs (named for their winter swimming club) has this amazing south of Bondi Beach. Miles and I are hoping to get in the pool there for a swim but I thought I’d take photos of it as we were passing in case we don’t make it back there.

Beach and buildings at Tamarama Beach. It’s also affectionately known as Glamarama because it’s where all the glamorous people hang out. If you look closely you can see the surfers all out in the surf – they always look like a whole different species way out in the water waiting for a wave.
