As I’m sure I’ve covered in past blog posts about Sydney, there are walks all along the harbor and also along the coast that are super nice. Improvements are being made to the walks to connect even more parts, and earlier this year a walk at the southern end of what had previously been complete was finished. This walk takes you south from Marourbra (where Colette lives) to Malabar, the next town south.
We started off in Chalk cafe in Maroubra because Sydneysiders like us need a coffee before taking on a new adventure 🙂 and then walked the hour or so trek to Malabar. There’s a lovely and nicely shaded playground at Malabar.
CC & R took the inland route back while we doubled back along the coast and saw a different view headed in the other direction. Once back at Maroubra, we had a quick bite to eat at Pool cafe then went in for a quick dip at Maroubra rock pool. So far, we are at 100% on the swim every day chart! And if there are badges going for having covered the coast walks, we should get another one for the Maroubra to Malabar and return walk!

Hi Cindy, the walk from Maroubra to Malabar looks fab, I’m v jealous of those fab blue skies😎great photos enjoy & Happy New Year to all 🎉
