We had a fun time at Matthiessen State Park, right beside Starved Rock State Park, and in our mind much better. We hadn’t been here since Liam was in diapers, but with the cold weather, all the rivers and waterfalls were frozen over, making for a beautifull visit. We came across a group of artists painting the scene. Great day!
