End of day
We finally got around to removing the concrete slab in the backyard. It was tougher than we thought, 8 inches thick in parts, with a wire mesh in the concrete. Our neighbor sergio helped hire two laborers he knew and we hired a lack hammer and slip. But it was not until chris arrived that we figured out how to really use the lack hammer best.
Wow. What a job! It will be SO nice for planting a garden and for drainage.
I’m also relieved that Jimmy Hoffa’s body wasn’t under there.
