Nox, Knox, Eric and Jane

Miles’s explanation of this piece of work from school:
“We don’t have to write anything about the word, like yellow anything. We can write whatever we want. So I wrote Nox. Mrs Furuta said “What’s a Nox?” So I started focusing on Erica and Jane’s last name and then I drew them.”
Miles really likes the word Nox. He used it last week in a sentence: Miles has no nox. Mrs Furuta wrote (nose) beside it.

  1. That is great! I love it, absolutely love it! The girls will be so pleased that they are “on the web”! Thanks Miles!

  2. Is Miles familiar with the works of Dr. Sesus? “Knox on Box…” If not he might want to sample them.

  3. Miles is familiar with many of Dr Seuss’s works, but he has not read Knox on Box. Thank you for the recommendation, I’ll be sure to look for it next time I’m at the library.

  4. the next time you’re at the library, John? when will that be…when the PTA changes to a PTO (in other words, when pigs fly?)

  5. Miles have you ever boxed with a Knox? I have. A verbal Knox that is! It means talking back and forth with a Knox family member.
