Miles and I went to the 59th Street beach today while Liam was at his movie-making class at the Hyde Park Art Center.
Then we walked all around Promontory Point. When I told Miles we were going to a place where there were rocks he could climb and jump on he said “If it has rocks I can climb and jump on, it was made for me.” At the tip of the point there are quite a few concrete benches / breakers.
Someone has painted eyes on the concrete breakers, all on the west side so the eyes are all looking out to the lake. I’d love to see it from the water. There are probably 50 pairs of eyes looking out. They’re painted in different colors, black, green, blue, yellow.
