Thanksgiving dinner…the turkey carcass
Over 3 days in KC we not only ate Thanksgiving dinner, we saved room to try the ribs at both Gates’s and at Fiorelli’s Jack Stack. Arthur Bryant’s had a line that went out the door and wrapped around the building so we’ll try it, and several others, next time. The winner of this round…Gates’s. However, the way things go, we only took a picture in Fiorelli’s, see below. To paraphrase something I’ve read (by Calvin Trillin? not sure) “I’d eat there if it weren’t in Kansas City.” In KC the choices are just so good, even excellent bbq like Fiorelli’s doesn’t make the cut.
