Hey everyone, this is Liam, I just wanted to show off some of the highlights of the year so far.
This is a dorm room down the hall from me:
These are some more complete pictures of my room and my desk:
I also purchased a new poster for my room.
This one is my favorite.
I’ve begun to eat a lot healthier. I recently switched over to what I call the “anything but pizza” diet. It’s where I can eat whatever I want, as long as it isn’t pizza.
For one of my classes we built and tested the strength of a brick.
Our brick was definitely the strongest of anyone’s in the class, but everyone displayed the strength of their bricks in different units so it couldn’t be proven.
My friends and I found a baby bunny on the way back from a dining hall last night.
Also my economics lecture hall has a bat living in it, I apologize for the portrait shot.

We really enjoyed the pictures of life in your dorm, Liam. Now I’m hoping that the baby bunny somehow got back to his mom. He is too young for college.
Yes we left him there in the hope he would be found by one of his own kind, I don’t think he would handle stress very well. I’m not sure if you noticed, but your postcard made a guest appearance in one of my pictures
Yes, I did notice the postcard!
Great to see pictures of you dorm and some work carried out to date.
I agree bunny a bit young for college setting. Hope Bats diet does not include baby bunnies.
It looks like you’re really getting into your stride Liam – I like the anything but Pizza diet – very good start to living away from home. Well done on the brick experiment too! Why the Fish Poster? What is it about the Fish? Amazing that the co-founder of YouTube is down your corridor and a really cool bat video to go with that! Thank You and God Bless, Phyllis
Haha thank you, I’ve been on it for two days, hopefully I can keep it up. The fish poster was for sale at a store nearby, and I just thought it looked interesting. Your reaction reminds me my roommate’s, who saw the poster and asked me if I was switching my major to biology.
Great post and photos, Liam! I’m glad to hear about the ABP diet, and love the fish poster. That’s great about the brick strength, too. Very cool about the cofounder of YouTube… Go 4th floor Allen hall!
Forgot to say Liam that in Ireland bats are protective species-dont know what the position is there. Very pleased to see a couple in our back garden for a very brief period at dusk this year and last.
Yes the bats here are also protected, there was actually a different bat living in a room down the hall from me and they had to be very delicate getting it out. Thankfully both bats were pretty far from the bunny.
Bats are good to have because they keep annoying and harmful insects under control. However, most of us would rather not share living quarters with one.
Sorry, accidentally click on this WordPress blog while looking for Rory’s – will go back to where everybody else is now (sorry Liam, college and adulthood doesn’t seem to have the same draw as being really tiny – it really is down hill for you. welcome to grownupville! Glad to hear college is going well – remember the upside of everybody watching Rory and not you is that you can have as much fun as you like!)
I’m glad your day in the blog game has treated you so well Colman! I have to admit it is nice to have Rory absorbing all the attention, as long as he keeps it up no one will notice how much money this whole college thing costs.
Too funny Liam! Yes Colman is a pro blogger now after one post! Glad to see college is going so well and that you’re making your room your own… Very cool about the you tube founder previously living down the hall!
So much on your blog post than the baby bunny! Interesting how you made the brick and tested its strength. Also very cool that a co-founder of YouTube lived nearby. I wasn’t even thinking about pizza, but after I read your blog I wanted some.
