Mom mentioned how loud the cicadas are in Kansas City right now, and I started thinking that our cicadas seem a bit louder than usual too! Here’s a video of our back yard, with the sound of cicadas buzzing away.

Your garden reminds me of scenes in Garfield Park-very impressive.
Nice tour of your garden in addition to the cicada concert. Early in the morning we see cicadas sleeping late after a wild evening. This morning there were 14 of them clinging to the screen door.
Thanks for the garden compliments! It’s so much easier to take care of now that the work has been done and the structure is in place. Wow, 14 cicadas on the screen door, that’s a lot! My colleague says his dog likes to eat them.
