Today we hosted the 2nd annual Ultimate Brunch with visitors from Denver, Eric, Amber and Will, and local friends Annette, Dave, Katie and Mark. Percy and Bommer joined the party this year too and their company was much enjoyed by all.
We had a delicious soy chorizo vegetable dish and potatoes in an amazing herb blend (courtesy Annette), pierogi (courtesy Nana Reg of Good Will Gorski fame), fruit salad and juice (courtesy Katie), mango and wine spritzers, coffeecake, quesadillas, and a granola bar. Percy and Bommer shared a large bowl of water.
Liam and Miles introduced Will to their new favorite classic British TV show–Fawlty Towers. Will showed a precocious appreciation for John Cleese. Later in the brunch, Will, as usual, delighted everyone with his new tricks. He can use sign language to say “more”, “brush teeth” and lots more. He also did a very cute thing with Bommer–while Bommer was sleeping Will put his nose right into Bommer’s ear cavity, which would make Bommer twitch and Will squeal in delight. This may not sound that hilarious and it probably doesn’t sound advisable to try at home, but it was very funny to see.
Fun, fun, fun, fingers crossed we will enjoy a three-peat in 2008.

Phew. The pics are better than last summer! I think it is also worth noting that Liam declared the pierogi as his favorite dish and stated that he ate seven of them.
