Dress as your favorite literary character

Needed: a way to post to the blog directly from my camera. I’ve just found pictures that I took and totally forgot about posting, so this definitely falls under the catching up category!

John and I went on a librarian pub crawl about a month ago. John dressed as author David Foster Wallace, and I dressed as Katniss from the Hunger Games. I received 4 votes for best costume, and John was frequently mistaken for the male lead in the Hunger Games, Peeta, although his costume looked nothing like Peeta. It was lots of fun all around though, and our friend Allen won for his tribute to George R. R. Martin, author of the Game of Thrones books. Another friend James had a fantastic Sylvia Plath costume on, wish I had gotten photos of all of them too!

  1. Nice costumes! I’m no expert, but Katniss, I think you need to turn that bow around if you want to shoot anything. 🙂

  2. Agree about the camera upload. It’s just that little bit of extra effort to transfer pictures on camera across to computer that I don’t even bother bringing it anywhere! Someone needs to invent a digital camera with blue tooth as a minimum (or I will continue to use iPhone)! Cool costumes by the way!
