Trees trimmed

The tree trimming crew was here during the week. They really did a great job on the main tree in the back. Before the trimming, the tree looked like this. After trimming, it looks like this:

I’m showing a high view, taken from our laundry room, so that you can see the situation with the fence a bit better. The tree is growing between our wooden fence and a chain link fence on the Sergio side, but if you look at the way our fence runs, the tree does seem to be on our property. So it’s weird, indeed, that the tree is outside our fence, but that’s how it goes. We no longer have the two trees on our side of the fence — they were unstable and not worth supporting, the arborist felt. Now, the tree is a lovely shape, like a big vase. Looking forward to seeing how it fills out with leaves in the spring / summer!

We also are “rejuvenating” the trees in front, though it’s hard to see that rejuvenation will happen to these stumps. Instead, it looks like someone was trying to send us a message and destroyed our trees. Will keep you posted on the rejuvenation this spring!

  1. If George Washington had said to his father, “I cannot tell a lie. I have rejuvenated the cherry tree,” would it have changed American history? I wonder…

  2. Looks like they did good job on back-ye still can avail of the shade from next door section.
I would be surprised if the front trees dont shoot up again in the spring too.
