This is a lot of photos of a small garden but then again I'm sure you all want to see every corner so I took photos from different angles!
Putting live plants in the window box under the tree didn't work out so well seeing as there is no light or water under there and I'm not great at maintaining that kind of neediness. So for our little party Saturday night I bought a bouquet of flowers and put them in "vases" in there. I think Martha Stewart would like this.
Longer shot
yay, tomatoes are growing!
The healthy stuff growing in the front is cilantro and parsley. There are tomato plants, chili pepper plants and some basil seedlings in here too.
Side view of the jungle like south side. One of our guests said the garden was like a walled cottage garden and I said "yes! that's what I'm going for!"
Another view of the jungle side.
Your window box flowers in vases are very pretty, and what an imaginative way of arranging them!
Tomatoes seem to take a long time to ripen. The anticipation builds, which is one reason they taste so good when they finally get red and ripe.
